Cindy Greene and her Dalmatians
Murphy and Maeve participated in the Buddy Walk for
Down Syndrome held at West Goshen Park in West
Goshen, PA. This is an annual event hosted by the
Chester County Down Syndrome Interest Group. Cindy’s
daughter Jennifer is a teacher and we were all there
to support one of her former students. Murphy and
Maeve were quite the hit and the kids were
fascinated that Murphy has “brown” spots. They were
back by popular demand and used their Canine Good
Citizen skills to the fullest. |
 |
Cindy Greene and
her Dalmatian Murphy participated in Science Day at Pennwood Elementary School in Westtown, PA. Cindy
and Murphy are active in scent work classes and did
a demonstration on how a dog’s nose functions for
the second-grade classes. Murphy showed off his
sniffing skills and found several hides placed
around the room. The students also got a chance to
try their nasal detection skills and identify common
cooking ingredients found in most homes. The lesson
was a huge hit and we have been asked to return next
year. |

On February
16, 2023, the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club
presented a donation of 6 Pet Oxygen Masks to the
Macungie Fire Department in appreciation of their
upcoming support of our Fast CAT event in May. |
